The Menagerie presented the latest Victorian Oddities Market at Spire the Church in Oakland, California. The event featured artisan vendors selling goth and steampunk items including jewelry, accessories, apparel, headwear, and home décor.

The twice-annual event took place July 22-23 at the Whitby Pavilion on England’s North Yorkshire coast, with a steampunk market along with presentations, workshops, live entertainment, and lots of cosplay.

The second Hangtown Wild West & Steampunk Festival took place June 17 and 18 at the Amador County Fairgrounds. That’s about 40 miles east of Sacramento, so naturally the Sacramento Steampunk Society was there.

“Villains and Heroes” was the theme as Clockwork Alchemy took place April 7-9 near San Francisco. Attendees could choose between a “Hero” and “Villain” ribbon when receiving their convention badges, and it appears that most opted for “Villain.”
