Valentine Wolfe is a musical duo consisting of Sarah Black on vocals and keyboards and Braxton Ballew on 5 string double bass. They describe their music as “gothic metal inspired by seances, 19th century gothic literature, and classical music.”

The duo has performed at Dragon Con, the Atlanta Steampunk Exposition, and other events. They have also composed and performed scores for theatrical productions, as well as live scores for screenings of classic silent movies, including Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

The huge multi-genre fan convention returns to Atlanta over Labor Day weekend with celebrities, authors, musical acts, costume contests, the Dragon Con parade, and programming tracks covering every conceivable fan interest.
Once again, the list includes many authors and musical acts that will be familiar to steampunk fans. The multi-genre fan convention takes place over Labor Day weekend at multiple locations in downtown Atlanta.
This year’s musical highlights included new albums from Frenchy and the Punk, Abney Park, Victor and the Bully, Madam Misfit, Feline and Strange, and Unwoman. CPYist, a new steampunk-inspired band from Germany, released its debut album along with some eye-popping videos.
The convention is back after a hiatus of nearly two-and-a-half years, and a host of steampunk personalities will help lead the festivities, including some who are new to the convention. This is the fourth edition of the event.
