New Steampunk Novella Promises Big Reveal

Mark R. Brandon has released Inkerman, a 47-page steampunk fantasy novella about a British Army captain who encounters unusual military technology in 1867 Crimea. Brandon cautions that the story features “adult themes and moderate gore,” but also promises a “jaw-dropping reveal.” It’s available as an e-book from Amazon.
It follows his earlier release of The Colossus of the Thames & Other Tales, a collection of 12 short stories he describes as “steampunk with an otherworldly twist.” They’re set in “an alternate London, in a world where the British never left America, where the Forever Queen rules the Empire of the Third Age with an iron fist, and where Time itself is a purchasable commodity,” he writes.
