Studio Foglio, the artists behind the popular Girl Genius gaslamp fantasy comics, launched a Kickstarter campaign for a set of costume medals depicting characters from the series. Four are available: Empress of All Cats, Emperor of All Cats, Aetheric Machinist First Class, and Official Animal of the Party.
The cat medals are designed so that backers can flip them and insert photos of their own cats.
Pledges begin at US $25 for your choice of medals. Shipping costs extra. The creators estimate delivery in April 2025.

Second Try to Fund Video Game
Christian King of Sarasota, Florida is making his second attempt to fund his video game Endless Vine. Players attempt to build a colony in a hostile wilderness, progressing from “primitive tools through medieval technology and beyond into the age of industrial steam power.”
Pledges for access to the game begin at US$20. He estimates delivery of an early-access version in July 2025.
He launched his first campaign in November with a $12,000 goal, but canceled after learning that Kickstarter campaigns are “all or nothing.” Now he’s scaled it back to $1,000 to cover a portion of his development costs.

3D Printable Dice Towers
Two creators launched campaigns to fund 3D printable steampunk-themed dice towers for tabletop games.
Mystic Makers Miniatures has set a minimum pledge of US$26 for a personal license and $80 for a merchant license. The latter allows users to sell the models they print. The creator estimates delivery in January 2025.
The campaign launched Dec. 2 and is well past its $500 funding goal. It runs through Dec. 24. See the Kickstarter page for more info.
Fantasy3Dream of London is offering downloadable files as well as fully printed models.
Pledges for the downloads begin at £13 (US$17) for a personal license and £45 (US$57) for a merchant license. Pledges for printed models begin at £39 (US$50). The creator estimates digital delivery in January, followed by printed models in March.
