Neovenator is out with “Launch Day,” a new music video for a track from their recently released album Songs From The End Of The Pier. The “launch” in question is a private spacecraft. The video has a retrofuturistic, 1960s vibe while taking digs at a certain 21st century entrepreneur.
It’s their third music video, but the first to be released since the album came out in November.
The band describes their music as “off-kilter but entertaining English psychedelic-pop.”
As we noted previously, we were unfamiliar with the band when they approached us in November seeking editorial coverage. But we liked the album so much that we bought it, and it’s now in heavy rotation in The Steampunk Explorer newsroom.
The band informed us that they’ll be performing at the Surrey Steampunk Convivial on Feb. 22 and 23 in Epsom, Surrey, U.K.
