Paul Eccentric is the author of The Periwinkle Perspective, a comedic steampunk series about a Victorian-era space captain. He is also a poet and musician who performs beat poetry as The Antipoet, in collaboration with Ian Newman.

It’s been a busy year for U.K. author Paul Eccentric, as publisher Caffeine Nights released three books in his steampunk series The Periwinkle Perspective.
Major book publishers have largely shied away from steampunk in recent years, but small independent presses continue to release steampunk titles, and lots of authors are self-publishing these days. Here’s a look at notable new titles released last year.
