The long wait will soon be over for many steampunk fans eager to congregate in the eastern U.S., as three events are scheduled for this weekend: The Key City Steampunk Festival in Central Pennsylvania, the Southern Maine Steampunk Fair at the Brick Store Museum, and MegaCon in Orlando.
The band was active in the UK steampunk scene between 2008 and 2015. Now staging a comeback, they released a new single and music video on July 12 and plan at least two more songs this year.
The organizers previously announced that they would hold off on selling tickets until they were sure they could run the convention within safety protocols. This year’s theme is “Cthulhu vs. The Martians.”
The online gathering will feature lectures, musical entertainment, a virtual vendor bazaar, maker exhibition, fashion show, and more. Chap hop artist Professor Elemental will beam in from the UK.
The band’s long-awaited fourth studio album has 17 songs, each featuring the name or character name of a fan who has supported the band in the past. We have some video highlights.
