This artist collective in Oakland, Calif., has created notable large-scale steampunk works such as Storied Haven, the Nautilus Submarine Art Car and the Raygun Gothic Rocketship.
The idea is to do the "heavy lifting that the individual artist couldn’t do on their own; by pooling resources, interests and talent to create opportunities for bigger, better and bolder Art."
The group doesn't have a public gallery. Instead, you can see their work at Burning Man, Maker Faire and other events.
The Steampunk Treehouse, first seen at Burning Man, is on permanent display at the Dogfish Head Brewery and Distillery in Milton, Delaware. Group members are also among the participants in The Tinkering Studio at The Exploratorium in San Francisco.
