Country Doctor Museum
The museum's stated mission is to interpret the "history of medicine in rural America." The main exhibits are in the Freeman-Brantley Building, consisting of two former doctors' offices that were moved to the current location and connected. They include a 19th century apothecary as well as medical instruments from the late 1800s. The Carriage House contains antique vehicles and an exhibit dedicated to the history of rural nursing. The website provides access to digital collections.
