The Roebling Museum has exhibits related to the history of Roebling, New Jersey, and the John A. Roebling's Sons Company. Established in the mid-19th century, the company was a pioneer in the manufacture of wire rope. Its steel wire was used in the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Empire State Building and many other structures. Collections include objects salvaged from the company's Kinkora Works steel plant, which was built in 1904 and operated until 1974.
