Winter Garden Heritage Foundation

The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation (WGHF) operates three facilities in downtown Winter Garden, Florida, near Orlando. The History Research & Education Center, at 21 East Plant Street, is the WGHF headquarters. It houses the WGHF archives and serves as a visitors' center. The Heritage Museum at One North Main Street focuses on the history and culture of the area, with exhibits including local citrus labels, Native American artifacts, railroad memorabilia and historic photographs. The Central Florida Railroad Museum is located at 101 South Boyd Street, in a former Tavares and Gulf depot built in 1913. It contains exhibits depicting Central Florida's railroading history, including a large collection of dining car china.
