Disney's Animal Kingdom
660 W Savannah Cir, Orlando, FL 32830
Disney's Animal Kingdom is the fourth of four theme parks built at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. It is the second largest theme park in the world, behind Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, and it is the largest Disney theme park in the world, covering 500 acres. It holds the distinction of being the first (and only) Disney park to be themed entirely around animal conservation. In 2014, the park hosted approximately 10.4 million guests, ranking it the fourth-most visited amusement park in the United States and seventh-most visited in the world. The park is represented by The Tree of Life, a sculpted 145-foot-tall 50-foot-wide artificial tree.
