Drake House Museum

The Drake House Museum serves as the headquarters of the Historical Society of Plainfield in northern New Jersey. The collection covers the city's history from the Colonial and Victorian eras. It also includes Julian Scott's painting 'The Death of General Sedgwick.' The original Drake House was built in 1746. George Washington once stayed there during the American Revolution.
