The James Ford Bell Museum of Natural History is located on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The museum's new location on the St. Paul campus opens in Summer 2018, when the museum will be rebranded as the Bell Museum + Planetarium. The new facility will include Minnesota wildlife dioramas, numerous animal specimens, and a 120 seat digital planetarium theater. The miuseum's collections number more than 4 million specimens.
