The Gold Coast Railroad Museum promotes historical trains and railroads. It houses over 30 historic trains including classic railroad cars like the Western Pacific 'Silver Crescent' and engines like the Florida East Coast '113.' It Includes four steam-powered locomotives and a steam-powered farm tractor. One of the locomotives is operational. The museum offers 25-minute train rides at the facility on diesel-powered trains.
One highlight of the museum is the Ferdinand Magellan, a Pullman railcar custom-built for the U.S. President. It's been designated as a National Historic Landmark.
