The society operates a museum campus with historic structures and a research library. The main museum is housed in the 1905 New River Inn, which serves as the entrance to the village. Other structures include the King Cromartie House Museum (1907) and a replica of an 1899 schoolhouse. The Hoch Research Library includes more than 400,000 photographs plus postcards, architectural drawings, maps, newspaper clippings and other items.
