Poudre Landmarks Foundation

108 N. Meldrum Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521

This non-profit manages two historic sites in Fort Collins. The Avery House (328 W. Mountain Ave), built in 1879, was the home of Franklin Avery, founder of the First National Bank. It serves as a local history museum and includes the foundation's Historic Costume Collection. The 1883 Water Works (2005 N Overland Trail) was the city's first public works project. It includes a pump house designed in the Gothic Revival style. The foundation's headquarters is in a carriage house behind the Avery House.
