Texas Christian University (TCU) is a private, coeducational university in Fort Worth. The campus is located on 272 acres about three miles from downtown Fort Worth. TCU is affiliated with, but not governed by, the Disciples of Christ. The university consists of 8 substituent colleges and schools and has a classical liberal arts curriculum. The university enrolls around 10,323, with 8,894 being undergraduates.
Library access: Guests may enter the Mary Couts Burnett Library during visitor hours. A photo ID is required for entry. Visitors may use designated computers to access databases and other online resources. Borrowing privileges are extended to holders of TexShare cards (TexShare is a consortium that includes many academic and public libraries in Texas). Members of Friends of the TCU Library get enhanced borrowing privileges, including renewal, Minimum cost is $50 per year.
