Trammell & Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art

2010 Flora St., Dallas, TX 75201

The Trammell & Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art is a museum dedicated to the arts and cultures of China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia. Most works in the museum have been obtained from individual purchases through private dealers and auction houses, as well as through the acquisition of major collections. Gallery I on the first floor exhibits Japanese art, except when travelling exhibitions are on display. Gallery II and the mezzanine display Chinese artifacts. The Jade collection, a pillar of the Crow Collection, is located here. Most of the items are from the 18th century, when the traditional Chinese jade industry reached its zenith. Gallery III is the primary site for works of art from Southeast Asia and India.
