11 Blinman St, New London, CT 06320

The society operates a museum at the Shaw Mansion, originally built in 1756. The mansion played a role in the American Revolutionary War, briefing hosting Gen. George Washington and serving as the headquarters for Connecticut's state navy. Today, the mansion houses the society's collections, archive and research library. It also includes furnished period rooms. The website has online exhibits about Connecticut's role in the War of 1812, the local whaling industry and New London's State Street.
