The University of Hartford (UHart) is a private, independent, nonsectarian, coeducational university in Connecticut. Its 350-acre main campus touches portions of three municipalities: Bloomfield, Hartford, and West Hartford. The university has more than 6,000 full-time and part-time graduate and undergraduate students. The university offers 82 bachelor's degree programs, 10 associate degrees, 28 graduate degrees, and 7 certificates or diplomas.
Libraries: The Mortenson Library is the main library. It occupies the Harry Jack Gray Center along with the Allen Library, which focuses on music and dance. Together, they are known as the Harrison Libraries. "Guests have limited access to library collections, equipment, seating, and services," the website says. Computers within both libraries are available to visitors. Guest Borrower cards are available for $50 per year.
