Connecticut College is a private liberal arts college in New London, Connecticut. Founded in 1911, it is a primarily residential, four-year undergraduate institution, with nearly all of its approximately 1,900 students living on campus. Notable alumni include actress/comedian Joan Rivers; actress Rachel Dratch; and actors Gordon Clapp, Jack Coleman, Chris Elliott, and Jeremy Piven.
Library access: The Charles E. Shain Library is the main campus library. Its collection includes more than 500,000 books and periodicals. The website states that "visitors are welcome for limited use of our facility and collections for research purposes at the discretion of the Library." Guest borrowing privileges are available to New London residents for $25 per year and to others for $50 per year.
