Don Drumm Studios & Gallery

437 Crouse Street, Akron, OH 44311

This gallery was founded in 1971 by noted sculptor Don Drumm. It features his own works as well as pieces by other North America artists, including family members Lisa, Leandra and Elisa Drumm. The gallery occupies 5000 square feet in two buildings and includes jewelry, glass, ceramics and metal.

The Different Drummer gallery, next to the main gallery, features works in wood, fiber, leather, and paper, as well as toys and jewelry. Drumm himself is known for his work with cast aluminum and cement. Leandra Drumm makes functional art from pewter and etched glass, including switchplates that will likely appeal to steampunks even if they don't fall within the steampunk category. She describes her work as "fantasy in motion."
