219 E Grant Ave, Georgetown, OH 45121
The Grant Boyhood Home in Georgetown, Ohio, was where Ulysses S. Grant lived from 1823 until 1839, when he left for the United States Military Academy at West Point. His parents Jesse and Hanna Grant built the two story cottage in 1823.
The home and a nearby schoolhouse attended by Grant are owned by Ohio History Connection. The US Grant Homestead Association maintains both properties and offers tours of both for a single admission fee.
