The foundation maintains a notable collection of antique music machines including player pianos, calliopes, orchestrions, and a large Wurlitzer theater organ built in 1927. The collection also includes restored steam engines, an 1881 Grant steam locomotive and the Eden Palais Carousel built in 1890. It's located on a private estate in suburban Chicago. It's closed to the general public except for periodic tours that must be booked in advance. The tours are led by docents and include mini-concerts on the Wurlitzer. The foundation also hosts charity events.
