This lakefront attractiion inludes a history museum with three galleries, a gift shop and archives. Next door is the Southport Light Station, originally built in 1866, and a keeper's home built in 1867. The keeper's home has been restored to reflect its appearance in 1908. It includes exhibits related to the area's maritime history. The Light Station Museum is open from mid-May until the end of October.
