The society maintains several historic sites as well as archives and a research library. The Hinsdale History Museum, at 15 South Clay Street, is designed to depict local family life between 1874 and 1900. The R. Harold Zook Home and Studio, built in 1924, was the property of a prominent local architect. The Hinsdale Historical Society Archives are housed at the Roger and Ruth Anderson Architecture Center in the lower level of Immanuel Hall, 302 South Grant Street.
