Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County
The Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County (formerly the Lake County Discovery Museum) is an interactive museum of history, art, and popular culture in Wauconda, Illinois. The museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and presenting the history and culture of Lake County, Illinois. Its collections include the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, the largest public collection of postcards in the United States.
The museum closed in 2016 and was scheduled to re-open in its new location on Winchester Road in March 2018.
