Founded by an archaeologist, Architectural Artifacts has a large inventory of antiques and architectural salvage in an 80,000-square-foot warehouse. Categories include lighting, commercial design, decorative objects, signage, seating, stained glass and windows. Some of the more unusual items include a 1940 Dow Jones Ticker Tape Machine (price tag $3400); an American blast furnace suit used in steel mills ($2800); and a Magician's wire form, circa 1900, used to perform levitation tricks ($1475). Items can be viewed and ordered online. The company has a second business renting out space for private events.
