Bridgewater State University

Bridgewater State University is the largest college in the Massachusetts state university system outside the University of Massachusetts system. The university consists of the main campus in Bridgewater, and two satellite campuses; one in Attleboro, and one on Cape Cod. Notable alumni include actors Jeffrey Donovan and Robert Stack.
Library: The Clement C. Maxwell Library has more than 300,000 volumes, an assorted collection of music and videos, and many classrooms. The third floor Special Collections area features a small museum and specialized collection on Abraham Lincoln. The library is open to the public. Borrowing privileges are extended to alumni, Bridgewater residents and students and faculty from state-funded colleges and universities in Massachusetts, including community colleges. Other community members may purchase a library card for $20 per year.
