The Jewelry City Steampunk Festival returned to Attleboro, Massachusetts on Jan. 25 with a program featuring talks, music, dance, circus performances, teapot racing, and lots of cosplay.
The day began with an official proclamation by Attleboro Mayor Cathleen DeSimone. “I am happy to be here at what is probably the coolest event in the city,” she said. Afterward, she presented the key to the city to Spooky the Cat (a real cat), who serves as the Jewelry City mayor.
Special guests included Frenchy and the Punk, Nathaniel Johnstone Band, and steampunk artist Bruce Rosenbaum. Lucky for us, photographer Kit Catlett was also there and allowed use of her photos. See them in the gallery below.
